Excellent experience! Dr. Kristin DesErmia is outstanding! She is patient and thorough with her explanation of hearing test results. She provides tools to use to cope with a hearing loss. Her office and staff, Jessica, provide a welcoming touch before meeting with Dr. DesErmia.

I've had the pleasure of having Kristen be my audiologist for close to 20 years. She has one everything possible to get me the best hearing aids for my profound hearing loss. As an OTR trucker, I had more than one instance where my hearing was questioned. When I was out of state. Kristen always made sure that she was available for me. Even after my relocation, she is still there if I need questions answered. Best healthcare provider I have ever had!!!

The best! Jennifer, her receptionist is always friendly and easy to work with. Dr. Kristen goes above and beyond to assure that I understand information and then there is service and attentiveness after the appointment. My husband goes here also and we are both very pleased. I'm out of town and needed some help with my hearing aids. I sent a message to Ascent and Kristin called me within 30 minutes. She stayed on the phone with me, helped me with all my issues, and wouldn't let me go until everything was working perfectly! It was past time for her to leave for the day, yet she was helpful, extremely patient, and very nice! As my hearing worsened after being abused in the late 60s, I decided it was time to do something about it. My evaluation at Ascent Audiology went smoothly and Kristen clearly explained various options to address my hearing loss. I've now been wearing hearing aids for about 10 days, and the before and after difference really is amazing. Conversations are clearer and easier to follow and I now hear sounds-especially higher pitch sounds-I haven't heard for years (e.g., cicadas, the timer buzzer on the stove, birds, and other subtle tones). I was quite apprehensive about wearing hearing aids, but the experience has been positive and I'm very glad I've made the decision to take steps to improve my hearing.

When I called to make an appointment and asked if they were taking new patients, Jessica said they were however, they were booked 2 weeks out. I shared my plight with her and within minutes, she was able to squeeze me in to see Dr. DesErmia. Jessica was kind and attentive and thorough while collecting information. Today 10/6/2020 was my first time meeting Dr. Kristin DesErmia. She and her assistant did a complete and comprehensive exam. I am truly happy I found a Dr. who is compassionate about what she does and has the same compassion for her patients. I highly recommend Dr. Kristin DesErmia as your go-to dr. for any hearing issues.

I took my 91 year old father to Ascent audiology and I want you all to know Kristin was exceptional! She took her time and walked him through the complete process from trying to communicate with someone who can barely hear to the finishing touches on his new hearing aids. Yes, he did have hearing aids before but they weren’t working. I believe he hears better now than he did 2 years ago! Great job, friendly and very professional! Thank you Kristen !
