Hearing aid investment varies depending on the technology level and features that best match your lifestyle and hearing needs. During your appointment, we’ll walk you through all options — including our financing plans — so you can make a confident, informed decision. We also accept most major insurance plans.

Most hearing aids are designed to last 5–7 years with proper care and maintenance. Our team will show you how to clean and care for your devices, and we offer ongoing support, repairs, and check-ups to keep your hearing aids performing at their best for years to come.

Absolutely — we encourage it! Hearing loss affects the whole family, and having a loved one present can be incredibly helpful. They can share their own observations, help retain information, and be part of your journey to better hearing from the very beginning.

Your first appointment is typically 60–90 minutes. We take the time to fully understand your hearing health history, conduct a comprehensive hearing evaluation, discuss the results with you, and answer all of your questions — so please don’t feel rushed.

A hearing test is completely painless and non-invasive. You’ll sit comfortably in a sound-treated booth and listen to a series of tones and speech sounds through headphones. We’ll explain every step and your results clearly so you leave with a full understanding of your hearing health.

Please bring a valid photo ID, your insurance card, a list of any current medications, and any previous hearing test results if you have them. You can also complete your intake forms online ahead of time at coastalhearingcare.com/intake-forms. If you currently wear hearing aids, please bring those as well.

Our Values

If you feel these 3 values represent who you are, then we may just be the perfect match.

Alternatively, if you read this and discover it’s not the right fit — there are absolutely no hard feelings. We believe the best care starts with the right relationship.

1

Kindness

The reason we love what we do is because we love making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Hearing loss is deeply personal, and we treat every patient with the warmth, patience, and empathy they deserve. We often turn patients into friends — and we find that the patients we build the greatest relationships with share this same core value.

2

Commitment

Achieving better hearing requires dedication — from both of us. To ensure you achieve better hearing for life, we’ll need to work together as a team. There may be challenging moments and triumphant ones, but what matters is that we stay committed to your journey. Better hearing is a destination worth working toward together.

3

Fun

Although we’re all here for an important reason, that doesn’t mean the journey can’t be enjoyable. The patients we love working with are positive, engaged, and willing to embrace the process with a smile. Life sounds better when you can hear it clearly — and we intend to make the path to getting there as enjoyable as possible.
